A word from Paul

Mister Morphis is an illusion.  I was born Paul Douglas Morphis in 1984, an only child, raised by a single parent.  My mother lavished me with affection at home, and it made me feel really special.  But,  meeting the outside world, I soon realized, I’m just average.

It’s 2018, a decade since I began my career as an entertainer.  I’m talented, and I’ve developed my skills.  But, I’ve worked all this time only to feed my hunger for approval.  That changed a little over a year ago when someone entered my life with real food.

I want you to know, I believe in Jesus of Nazareth, the living King.  I’ve long been convinced, invisible forces order the events of our lives.  I’ve bowed down to them even after Christ made himself known to me, but I have never known peace… without honoring Jesus as my King.

Father, may they clearly know Your will and achieve the height and depth of spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 May their lives be a credit to You, Lord; and what’s more, may they continue to delight You by doing every good work and growing in the true knowledge that comes from being close to You. 11 Strengthen them with Your infinite power, according to Your glorious might, so that they will have everything they need to hold on and endure hardship patiently and joyfully. 12 Thank You, Father, as You have made us eligible to receive our portion of the inheritance given to all those set apart by the light. 13 You have rescued us from dark powers and brought us safely into the kingdom of Your Son, whom You love 14 and in whom we are redeemed and forgiven of our sins [through His blood].

The Apostle Paul,  Colossians 1: 9-14
